The Blue Project meets Rachel’s Challenge!

February 9th, 2010 | View Archives »

The Blue Project has been growing immensely over the past few years and more and more people are beginning to take notice. Some of those people taking notice are the great people surrounding Rachel’s Challenge. Jared’s program has caught the attention of the people at RC and they’ve invited him out in March to perform for the Rachel’s Challenge Impact Dinner held annually to recognize the efforts of everyone on the RC team. Jared will be performing songs from the Blue Project and sharing how his program has been effecting young people all over the country. This will be a very special evening and will hopefully be the start of a great friendship between the Blue Project and Rachel’s Challenge!

Make sure to check out this latest video from Jared which he plays during his song “Written On Your Face”, a song about appreciating the differences we have in each other.  This song has been effecting young people and challenging them to stop the bullying that goes on in so many schools around the world.

The Blue Project will be moving into the camp scene this summer of 2009 so if you’re interested in bringing it to your camp make sure you send an email to info@jcblueproject.com.  Jared is excited about brining this program into the new arena of summer camps and has this to say about it “I think the Blue Project works so well in schools but bringing it to camps will be like bringing it to a whole new level.  I mean, what’s summer camp without an acoustic guitar?!”

Jared Presents at 2008 NYSSCA Conference

Jared presented the Blue Project to over 400 New York state guidance counselors at the 2008 NYSSCA Conference.  His presentation sparked the interest of most schools that were in attendance and he looks to bring the Blue Project to those schools over the rest of December and throughout the course of 2009.  This marked the official lauch of the Blue Project state wide and brings hope that Jared’s music will reach thousands of students and get them to “Catch a glimpse of BLUE”!
