“If Only” – A song about following after your passion and not having to look back someday and say “If only I had taken a shot at my dreams when I was young and had the chance”.

“Beyond the Gray” – A song related to the “white line” along the highway that keeps your car on track when the fog is too thick to find your way. Jared relates that line to the line we all have in life found in our friends, family, faith and whatever else it is that keeps us moving in the right direction when life is just too foggy.

“Life is Good” – A heart felt song about the importance of relationships when life doesn’t seem to go your way. This is a story song in which Jared sings about a boy with no friends, a mother who has become a widow and even himself as a musician traveling the lonely road. In all of these stories the goodness of life is found in parents who love their son, children who love their mother and family, friends and fans that keep a musician on the right track.

“In Your Heart” – A song about learning to deal with the loss of loved ones and those close to you in life. This song was written for a family who had lost their son at the age of 22 to cancer. The song was a gift to the family to let them know that even though their son was no longer with them physically, he will remain in their hearts forever…as sure as the sun and moon continue on day after day.

“Catch a Glimpse of Blue” – The theme of the Blue Project. A song to remind us that even though life may bring us clouds, there is always a blue sky behind them. This song allows us to carry hope through hard times and realize that life can surely be amazing once we learn to look past the obstacles that get in our way.
